Good Guys Car Show, Dog Days of Summer, Belmont Greek Festival, Millbrae Mid-Autmn Festival and more!

1. San Carlos R.I.B Festival

The Rotary International Barbecue (R.I.B. Fest) 2023 is a BBQ throwdown, with an international twist. Each team will represent a country, and prepare a BBQ specialty of that cuisine. Proceeds to scholarships and community projects. Join this year on August 26, 2023 at Twin Pines Park in Belmont!

2. Good Guys Car Show in Pleasanton

America’s Favorite Car Show returns to its roots for a 40th anniversary celebration of Cool Cars, Cool People and Good Times! Grab your family and friends and head on out to the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton the weekend of August 25th through 27th for the Goodguys 36th West Coast Nationals featuring over 3,000 of the country’s finest 1998 & older hot rods, trucks, customs, muscle cars and classics! Plus, don’t miss Goodguys’ Classic Performance Products AutoCross racing series action featuring the FiTech Fuel Injection “West Coast Shootout”, experience an earth-shaking Nitro Thunderfest, a Pinstriper’s Brush Bash, shop the huge swap meet, Cars 4 Sale Corral and vendor midway, enjoy live music, see which rides take home the top awards of the weekend including Builder’s Choice “Top 10” awards, and so much more! And, on Sunday, American made or powered late models of all years are welcome for our Meguiar’s All-American Sunday celebration! 

3. Dog Days of Summer

Dog Days of Summer is a monthly gathering this Aug 26, Sept 30, Oct 28 to meet fellow dog lovers, brunch with your best friend outdoors, dance at the doggy disco, shop for unique pet products, and enjoy even more furry fun! Watch or join the doggy costume contest at 11:00am, where adorable pups will strut their stuff in fabulous summer themed outfits. Registration opens at 10:00am at the information booth. Indulge in delicious brunch specials and beverages from East Cut resident eateries and bar and rotating guest food trucks. Explore, shop & adopt from a range of pet-friendly products, services providers, and local animal shelters offering demonstrations, giveaways, and adoption opportunities. Dance with your dog at the disco featuring live DJs spinning classic disco, soul and funk jams from 12-2pm. Human and/or dog costumes are encouraged! 

4. Belmont Greek Festival

Join on Labor Day Weekend, Sat. and Sun., Sept. 2-3, 2023, at the 51st Belmont Greek Festival, as the San Francisco Bay Area celebrates the best of Greek culture with delicious food and lively entertainment! Lip-smacking Greek dishes, desserts, and beverages, and the indoor dining hall is back with a full array of meals! Plus the awesome outdoor food booths! Exciting dancers and musicians, a fabulous band, mythology play, bookstore, church tours, craft boutiques and more. Festival hours are Noon-10 PM both days.

5. SF Giant Race

The Giant Race today announces the 14th annual San Francisco event will take place on Sunday, September 3. Presented by Alaska Airlines, this year’s event features  5K and 10K live races, with the introduction of a new Team Challenge offering,  providing entrants the opportunity to form their “Starting Lineups” of nine or more participants. A virtual option is available for those who cannot participate in person. All contestants will receive an exclusive bobblehead, finishers medal, race shirt and commemorative race bib.

6. Armenian Food Festival

The Annual Food Festival, the largest Armenian festival in the Bay Area, has been celebrating Armenian food & culture for the past 65 years.Annual Food Festival celebrating authentic Armenian cuisine, dancing, music and art.

Widely recognized as one of the best ethnic food festivals in the Bay Area, it features a range of authentic cuisine, dancing, music and art. Enjoy everything from live musical performances to Shish-Kebab lunch, veggie & dinner plates. Join at St. Gregory's Church in San Francisco 9/15-9/17 for:

7. Millbrae Mid-Autumn Festival

Come to the 2023 Millbrae Mid-Autumn Festival, where ancient traditions and modern festivities come together to create a unique and memorable experience. At the event, you will spend the most quality time and the happiest moment with your cared ones. More than 150 food vendors and arts/handicrafts vendors are coming to the event. Large Kid's Zone includes jumping houses and kids activities for families with kids to spend the most meaningful and funniest time! Also, this event will include different kinds of performaces on the stage. The whole-weekend performance includes the lion dance, live bands, dancing, singing, Hanfu show, and Kung Fu Show that will bring all the people who come to the event an amazing time. Join on Sep.23rd, and Sep. 24th at Millbrae Downtown and HAVE FUN!!
